Risk Assessments & Operating Procedures
On satisfactory completion and hand over of the course we will issue a certificate of conformity, a site specific Risk Assessment and Operating Procedures. The Operating Procedures include information regarding the safe preparation and conditions for use of the course as well as the operation of each element.
Training
Staff and management will be trained, assessed and certified by Vertex Training, a professional and established ropes course training company who deliver comprehensive programs the world over. The training will be site specific on your course and include operational procedures of the ropes course, correct use of PPE, access, inspections and rescues, challenge by choice and development skills. The duration of the training course will depend on the experience of the staff using the course.
After Care – Service & Maintenance
We have developed a good working relationship with High Time, an established ropes course inspection company specializing in the inspections and maintenance of Ropes Courses and Climbing Walls. With regular tours around the country High Time offers a prompt service, and sharing mileage between clients, a very competitive quote.
- Servicing – Although there are few working or mechanical parts on modern ropes courses, we can supply and service most chain hoists, trolleys and pulleys on sight.
- Availability and posting spares – large stocks of spares ready for immediate dispatch.
- Inspections – we offer an annual inspection service with certification for insurance purposes
- Maintenance – All our ropes courses have been designed to reduce maintenance requirements to keep them safe and operational so as not to inconvenience yourselves or your client. We do, however, maintain dated wire courses, Fan descenders, tree base courses and Zip lines that do require regular maintenance and replacement parts.
- Testing new courses and old equipment
- Warranty and Quality Assurance on all materials and workmanship.
